Bertroche fifth Republican in 3rd District race

Dr. Patrick Bertroche of Urbandale plans formally announce his candidacy for U.S. House from Iowa’s 3rd District on Friday.It would make Bertroche, a doctor of osteopathic medicine, the fifth Republican to enter the race to become the Republican challenger to seven-term Democratic Rep. Leonard Boswell of Des Moines.
