Kim Carlos Runs Kansas City Politics: 
I hate success stories. The success of other people only makes me realize that dominating the local blogosphere from time to time isn't really that much of an accomplishment and it's really just a way to pass the hours in my mom's basement.
Anyhoo . . . I would be remiss if I didn't point out that politicos all over town are talking about Kim Carlos coming up in the world.
Also, I refuse to call her only her first or last name because 'Kim Carlos' sounds so cool with all those consonants. So . . .
Kansas City Political Insiders know that Kim Carlos is a cancer survivor, mostly because she won't stop telling everybody as much. More importantly (to everyone else) Kim Carlos is currently a juggernaut in City Council Campaign Circles.
Kim Carlos and Cindy Circo are hooked up and talking about more than just hair and nails. She's running the Circo Campaign . . . Probably away from all mention of Citadel Plaza.
Kim Carlos looks cute with Cathy Jolly . . . Those two are buddy buddy and might just reunite for another campaign.

Best of all . . . Kim Carlos pretty much owns John Sharp now because of a 2k in-kind donation. Check the latest finance reports for KC Consulting, she's the guy's biggest contributor outside of the Unions.
What does all this mean? First of all, it's rather inspiring that some broad can beat cancer and then go on to run a great many local Democrats.
Secondly, there is no arguing with Kim Carlos: She's a business lady, cancer survivor Democrat fixture with Council connections that run deep . . . She has a lock on 'professional services' (heh) to the City Council and I guess it couldn't happen to a more deserving lady . . . The fact that KC Council Politics now resembles a Lifetime Prime Time Special shouldn't really bother anybody but the most sexist and insensitive people . . . Like TKC. Natch.
